The room was well decorated with balconies and smoke detectors for safety. the hotel's location in the best area was indeed particularly good. Had a great experience trying some tasty treats at Akrovatis, just a short walk from the property.

The Newel Metaxourgeio is my go-to place in Athens. Helpful staff fixed my tech issues on my first stay. It has everything I need: Free Wi-Fi, parking, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, a welcome drink. Coming back for New Year!

I recently stayed at The Newel Metaxourgeio for a week-long business trip. The hotel is conveniently located near the Metro and within walking distance of Athens attractions. The rooms are spacious with balconies, and the breakfast served by the friendly staff is delicious. I also enjoyed the nearby Lux bar and an authentic Greek restaurant just a short walk away. The Wednesday fruit and vegetable market was a unique experience, although it did wake me up early with its set-up.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel's fitness center was a hidden gem. It felt like stepping into a private gym, where I could work out with ease and avoid the crowded public ones.

Who needs a good location anyway? Staying in a rough neighborhood with drug users everywhere was quite the adventure.

We had a fantastic stay at Newel Metaxourgeio. the room was beautifully decorated, with a cozy and comfortable bed. the wifi worked seamlessly, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and attended to. We especially loved the rooftop terrace, where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a stunning view. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😊.
